ARO has worked closely with the GSD on a series of planning studies, beginning with a 5-year expansion plan examining how to evolve the current design school into a full campus. This study was followed by a 15-year strategic plan to map how the school could effectively grow both programmatically and physically from its base at Gund Hall. Each study entailed close programmatic analysis and test fits to flesh out how the new spaces of the growing school could reflect its evolving pedagogical goals.
