I created this food timeline to visually describe two simultaneous moments in history - a singular meal I experienced in New York that highlighted that city's iconic meals, juxtaposed against the gastronomic history of the city itself. The food, dishes, and the flavors are what bridge and collapse the two distinct time-scales.
